Learning to pray with the Holy Spirit
I am learning to pray with the Holy Spirit.
I cannot always accurately express to God what I feel, see, or hear.
These are the limits of my earthly senses.
So I am learning to pray with the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:26 encourages me to rely on the Spirit’s groanings or even spiritual tongues when I, myself, cannot find the right words to say.
That makes perfect sense…
I am learning to pray with the Holy Spirit.
Some days I feel anxious, heavy or confused when sharing my thoughts with God.
These are the limits of my earthly emotions.
So I am learning to pray with the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 6:18 tells me to pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests (see also Jude 1:20).
I won’t be discouraged by turbulent motions.
I am learning to pray with the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit gives me the ability to spiritually grow and speak to God in tongues (1 Cor 14:2,4,5; Acts 2:4; Acts 10:45-46; Acts 19:6)
