Let There Be Light: the power of the tongue

In the beginning God said, “let there be light and there was light” [Genesis 1:3]. This Dimension, the Universe and the Heavens were created by God. All from a single decree uttered from the mouth of God within the unseen Spirit Realm.

Operating through your Spirit Man (Image & Likeness of God)

God also made us in “his image and likeness” [Genesis 1:26]. John‬ ‭4‬:‭24‬ ‭says “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” This is God’s image and likeness. He is a spirit, we have our own spirit and we have his Holy Spirit living within us.

The Second Adam & Our Garden of Eden

In Adam’s altered level of the Spirit Realm, before his fall, he was able to make eternal decrees with his mouth. For instance, God gave him the grant to name the animals of the land, fishes of the sea and birds of the air [Genesis 2:19-20]. These creations have retained their identities to this day. However, Adam failed to complete his task due to his fall with Eve [Genesis 3]. Personally, I believe Adam and Eve were at an altered level in the spirit realm before their fall. This explains the mystery of Adam and Eve not being aware of their “nakedness” before eating the forbidden fruit. They were so elevated in The Spirit that their flesh was humbled. In other words they were able to truly Walk With God [Genesis 3:8]. Literally.

Yeshua, our saviour, is considered the “Second Adam” [Romans 5:14-15]. Yeshua fulfilled what Adam failed to do by bringing the Lord’s Kingdom to this earth by exercising his authority over the earth, without falling to any temptation through his flesh or spirit. Healing the sick, raising the dead, casting out devils and walking on water were many of the miraculous doings of Yeshua. Most of these were executed by Yeshua using his tongue to speak life.

Ultimately, Yeshua came to re-ignite our lost Kingdom Keys within us. This is the authority given to us by God, a second time, post Adam, though the Holy Spirt. To prepare for another Garden Of Eden.

‘As it is in Heaven’: Staying in the Spirit

The Lord wants us to bring his Kingdom to this realm [Matthew 6:9-13], using the Kingdom Keys left by Yeshua to operate with power on this earth, as God first intended in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve. Therefore, we should endeavour to do our best to operate in the “Spirit” at all times to reflect God’s image and likeness with the help of the Holy Spirit.

The easiest way to get and stay in the spirit is through regular fasting and prayer. Yeshua, God in flesh, fasted in the wilderness [Matthew 4:1-2] for forty days. We already know that Galations tells us to stay in the spirit to avoid the lusts of the flesh [Galations 5:6]. Ephesians states we should be, “praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;” ‭‭[Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭18‬]. Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬ says, “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”

In this state of being we can then use our God given power to speak life into existence like our Heavenly Father.

The Kingdom of darkness

The devil attempts to mimic the Kingdom of Heaven to create evil in this earth (the old Eden).

For instance, witches understand the spiritual law of confession and try to cast spells from their mouths too. However, we have greater power to tread upon serpents, scorpions and over all the power of the devil [Luke 10:17-20]. Matthew 18:18 states, “Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

We must lean on these words of our Lord, more than we lean on bread [Matthew 4:4].

High Priest: Let there be Light!

Through the Holy Spirit we are the High Priests of the everlasting Kingdom of God. Tasked with making decrees to enhance our Master’s Kingdom on earth. In times past and even today, mortal Kings use their own priests for evil outcomes; but our everlasting King, Elohim, will use us as his priests for good.

King Solomon said “life and death is in the power of the tongue” [Proverbs 18:21]. In the highest level of The Spirit we can create or destroy life through our lips, decreeing life into existence like our Heavenly Father did at the beginning of time. “Let there be light”.

If God is for us who can be against us? Soon, there will be a new Heaven and Earth. Another Eden where we reign with Yeshua.
